About Salvador López, Todos Modos Founder
Salvador López built Todos Modos around a conviction he’s tested for nearly two decades: systems don’t change without the people inside them, and the communities closest to a problem are rarely the ones invited to redesign it.
He is President & CEO of KConnect, a cradle-to-career backbone organization in Kent County, Michigan, where he leads work to connect people, organizations, and data toward a future in which every child and family has the opportunity and support to thrive — no matter their starting point. Before that, he spent nearly a decade in higher education building structures that better served students, faculty, and staff.
His practice as a thought partner and systems thinker lets him convene cross-sector partners in the same room, hold neutral ground long enough for trust to form, and pair rigorous data with the stories that make it mean something. A first-generation college graduate with deep roots in West Michigan, he co-founded Housing Kent and served as its first interim president, and founded the statewide No Se Puede, Sin Nosotros movement. He also serves as Chair of the Grand Rapids Community College Board of Trustees, along with several community and statewide boards, and is a Harvard EdRedesign Cradle-to-Career Fellow.
Salvador holds a Master of Science in Communications and lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife and three children.
What’s in a Name
Todos Modos = Spanish — literally “all ways”
De todos modos = idiom — “either way,” “no matter what,” “by all means”
From the phrase De Todos Modos — “by all means.” It’s a declaration.
The name came first from the Mexican phrase, De Todos Modos, by all means. It is the kind of thing you say when you’re committed to finding a way through, regardless of what stands in the way.
Todos Modos was founded to work with organizations, communities, and leaders who need a professional facilitator, an evaluator, and a data storyteller — someone who can take complex information and translate it into something that actually moves people.
The goal is to deliver real value. Some clients need a room facilitated. Some need their program data visualized in a way their board can fully understand. And some need an outside eye to evaluate what’s working and help them tell that story to funders, policymakers, or the public.
All of it falls under the same north star: make understanding more accessible than it was before we arrived.
